1. Eliminate
excess sebum
This is the basis for displaying beautiful skin on a daily basis and eliminating sebum and
other impurities that cloud the complexion: good facial cleansing. For this,
arm yourself with a good cleanser for clean skin! Be careful to choose it
according to your skin type, oily skin will not have the same needs as dry skin
for example. You can perfect your cleaning routine by applying a small lotion
to remove lime from the water. Finally, don't forget to make a small scrub once
a week to remove dead cells.
2. To avoid
dark circles, take into account the blood circulation
Now that we
have perfectly cleansed skin, let's move on to the "hydration" phase.
An essential step whether you wear makeup or not. We start by taking care of
the eye area. But beware, not just how! We agree we are used to applying our
serum or cream around the eye by massaging the eyes from the inside to the
outside (right?). Serious error, if you want to be effective on a dark circle
or a morning bag, it is better to respect the lymphatic paths.
Indeed,
these nasty problems are the result of poor circulation of the blood, and not
following the right path to stimulate the energy of the eye area consists more
or less of doing nothing. And we, overworked women, really don't need that. So
now, with the pulp of the index finger, we perform a mini-drainage by gently
massaging the skin with small pressures in circular movements (and not by
stretching so as not to crease the skin and facilitate the appearance of
wrinkles), ten times from the outer corner to the inner corner of the eye.
Then we do the same thing all around the orbit.
3. Apply
care from the bottom up
Always
hydration but with the rest of the face. And here is a little simple tip that
is important when you apply your moisturizer: the best is to avoid pushing your
face down (it already does it very well on its own). It is a matter of
weightlessness. To moisturize the skin of your face with your day cream, you
start from the neck to go up to the forehead, and from the center of the face
to the top of the cheekbones. Guaranteed push-up effect. A small step for us, a
big step to challenge the laws of gravity.
And of
course, before applying your treatment, you choose it well. For example, if you
have normal to combination skin, opt for a light treatment that is not too
rich, which will provide you with sufficient hydration on a daily basis without
lubricating the skin. Our favorite: the light, moisturizing treatment REhydrate
Eau Thermale Jonzac. With its non-comedogenic formula, hypoallergenic, and
enriched with vegetable glycerin, this cream brings the right dose of hydration
to the skin on a daily basis and helps to slow the evaporation of water in the
face of external aggressions.
4. Leave
your face moisturizer away from the eye area
Another
beauty tip for applying your cream: be careful to avoid the entire area
surrounding the eye. Why? Because our moisturizer is far too heavy in water
for this fragile area. The skin around the contour is so thin that it absorbs
everything in excess. And who says too much water, says swelling skin, says the appearance of puffiness. It is in particular for this reason that there are
treatments specifically adapted to this area (no, it's not just marketing).
5. The peel
to get a new look
Do you know
peeling? It is a technique of "peeling" the skin. Yes, you read
correctly! The peel burns a thin part of the skin with acid in order to renew
the upper layers of the epidermis. Obviously, this technique is exclusively
practiced by specialists. Allowing to remove many of our small
"imperfections", the peel is also ideal for getting rid of wrinkles.
A somewhat miracle technique that costs between 150 and 500 euros.
Fortunately
for our wallet, cosmetics got involved. Now, the peel is also accessible to
everyone thanks to beauty products at a more affordable price.
